A retail and e-tail marketing leader, Maria brings 20 years of experience to Pacvue clients in the areas of integrated marketing, analytics and growth strategies. Maria brings specialized knowledge in selling consumables on Amazon. She led marketing, online merchandising, coop and growth strategies for Amazon Prime Now, a new hyper-growth global business for Amazon now integrated with Amazon Fresh.
Prior to Amazon, Maria spent 15 years in traditional grocery retail marketing, merchandising, private label and consumer analytics. Early in Maria’s career she developed digital marketing plans for Nestle mega brands including Stouffer’s, Nesquik, Butterfinger and Friskies, and helped launch e-commerce sites for Express and The Limited as Account Director for IBM-Ix.
An energetic and hands-on leader, Maria is an enthusiast for the consumer and a believer in the Amazon Day 1 philosophy. Maria enjoys translating insights into relevant offerings to meet client and consumer needs and driving growth on the Amazon platform through organization and tool know-how.
Maria has guest-lectured in the UT system to MBA candidates and developed marketing curriculum for undergraduate marketing students in the area insight-driven marketing. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Reed College in Portland, Oregon and a Certificate in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business.
